Report: Depression, anxiety complaints high in Louisiana, Arkansas

May is Mental Health Awareness Month and new data suggests that Louisiana and Arkansas residents are among those having the hardest time with depression and anxiety.
The report,
, is based on geotagged Twitter data in the last 30 days, tracking tweets and hashtags about depression and anxiety amid COVID-19. This includes hashtags such as #depression, #anxiety, #depressed, etc. Over 900,000 tweets were tracked.
Louisiana ranked 3rd in the states complaining about depression and anxiety during the pandemic. Arkansas followed closely behind.
