Desiard Street Walmart Neighborhood Market temporarily closing for remodeling

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Walmart Neighborhood Market in Monroe will be temporarily closing starting June 29 for rapid remodeling.

In a press release, Walmart corporate communications says the remodel will “improve speed, convenience, and the everyday shopping experience for customers”.

The Pharmacy and Fuel Station will remain open. They expect the closure to last four weeks.

The remodeling will include new paint, fixtures, signage, LED lighting, online grocery pickup and delivery upgrades, expanded aisles and Pharmacy upgrades.

While the Walmart Neighborhood Market on Desiard Street is temporarily closed, people can shop at the Walmart locations listed below:
