A Las Vegas man was arrested after being accused of shooting his apartment maintenance manager in the legs over water damage to his apartment.

According to the arrest report, 93-year-old Robert Thomas was at the complex’s rental office upset and complaining about water damage to his apartment.

In the surveillance video, Thomas is seen holding a gun as a woman sat at a desk and the maintenance man sat in a chair across from her.

At one point, Thomas allowed the woman to exit the office. Thomas continued to look at the maintenance man saying something and waving a gun. Then he pointed it directly at the man and fired. The man fell to the floor.

The surveillance video shows Thomas continuing to stand over the man saying something before aiming at him and shooting him again.

As Metro Police officers arrived at the scene they heard the gunshot. They ran up to the building and found Thomas still holding the gun, so they ordered him to drop it as they fired a shot.

Thomas was arrested and is now facing charges including attempted murder with a deadly weapon, kidnapping with a deadly weapon, discharging a firearm within a structure, and burglary.

The victim was treated for his injuries. He has been released from the hospital.
