Bobby Cushing

Bobby Cushing joined the News 10 team in August of 2024 as an intern while attending Michigan State University, where he was able to learn from the best News 10 has to offer. Starting in 2025, still as an intern, Bobby started reporting on-air two days a week.

He grew up in New Jersey, but after finding his way to the Midwest for school, he decided to stay a bit longer.

In May of 2025, Bobby officially started as a full-time reporter covering all that Mid-Michigan has to offer. From breaking news to community support spotlights, Bobby has fully embraced Lansing and beyond. He reports Wednesday through Sunday and takes an interest in any story someone has to tell, from community events to what's going on at the Capitol. Have a story idea or tip?
