WASHINGTON (Gray DC) - Congress returns to Washington with all eyes on the House of Representatives as lawmakers look to pass a bill fully funding the Department of Homeland Security.

Last week, the Senate passed the $72 billion package in a near party-line vote.

The bill would fully fund DHS, including ICE and Border Patrol, using reconciliation - allowing Republicans to bypass a potential Democrat-led Senate filibuster. It now heads to the House.

Meanwhile, voters in four states head to the polls for their primary elections June 9.

Key races include Maine’s Senate race. Republican incumbent Susan Collins is unopposed in her primary. She is likely to face Democratic candidate Graham Platner in November.

South Carolina, North Dakota, and Nevada are also holding their primaries.

And, lawmakers will bring out their bats and gloves for the annual Congressional Baseball Game Wednesday. The event is a fundraiser for D.C.-area charities. Republicans are looking for their sixth straight win.

Plus, President Donald Trump celebrates his 80th birthday Sunday with a planned, first-ever UFC fight at the White House.
