ULM reports larger freshman class, total enrollment

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The University of Louisiana Monroe celebrated a four percent increase in total enrollment, from fall 2023 to fall 2024.

ULM officials say enrollment is up across several groups, including first-time freshman, international students, the ULM Honors program and the graduate school.

The university reported first-time freshman enrollment jumped 22%. The ULM Graduate School hit its largest-ever enrollment, seeing a jump of 9% over fall 2023. The ULM Honors program’s enrollment increased by 35% since fall 2023.

ULM President Ron Berry said, “It is remarkable what can be achieved when people with shared values and a commitment to a common goal and vision come together.”

Grambling State University is reporting a slight increase in total enrollment in fall 2024, compared to fall 2023. GSU officials report an increase of 11% in first time freshmen.
