OAK RIDGE, La. (KNOE) - Starr Homeplace held its community day in Oak Ridge on Saturday.
They invited blacksmiths, craftsmen, artists, painters and others to display their skills and work.
Many people got a chance to meet the new artists, enjoy wood crafting, eat gumbo, listen to live music and also see the new covered blacksmith shop.
They are now asking for volunteers to come out and help out.
Starr Homeplace hosts community days on the second Saturday of each month. Its last community day of the year will be on October 12.
