UPDATE: Power outages in northeast Louisiana: Approx. 4,100 customers

Storms have caused widespread outages across the area.

Approximately 4,100 customers are without power in northeast Louisiana as of 7 PM.

Entergy says they expect to have the vast majority restored by end of work tomorrow (Sunday) night.

They expect to have people in the more isolated areas restored by Monday.

They say the last system caused some additional damage in Tensas, around Newellton, LA.

The red areas on the map show the areas without power.

Each customer represents a home or business that does not have power, so the actual number of people without power is higher.
