Day care worker accused of leaving young children unattended to go visit a friend

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG/Gray News) - A day care worker was arrested on charges related to leaving three children unattended, police said.
According to the incident report, Tommy Colbert, 23, was arrested on a charge of child endangerment.
The incident report alleged that Colbert left three children, ages 6, 3, and 11 months old, unattended for an hour to go visit a friend.
The day care where the incident happened is Little Miracle’s Child Care Center, located on the 4200 block of Monroe Street.
Colbert appeared in court on Jan. 17. He pleaded not guilty and was released on his own recognizance.
