Louisiana State Police investigating Richland Parish Homicide

RAYVILLE, La. (KNOE) -On Saturday, October 26, 2024, at approximately 12:25 a.m., the Rayville Police Department (RPD) requested Louisiana State Police/CID/Detectives Monroe Field Office (LSP MFO) to investigate a homicide that occurred inside the city limits of Rayville.

According to LSP, the investigation revealed that a shooting took place near the intersection of Madeline Street and Scott Street. The shooting resulted in the death of one subject.
