BBB: Dish Network TV upgrade scams

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Today, Jo Ann Deal with the Better Business Bureau joined Good Morning ArkLaMiss to discuss Dish Network TV upgrade scams.
Deal says when a TV upgrade scammer contacts you, they usually know your information already. Other ways to show this is a scam are:
- Your Caller ID may be spoofed to show “Dish Networks”
- The scammer will instruct you to navigate the menus on your Dish receiver/TV
- If the scammer learns your PIN, they can make changes to your account
