ULM to host FAFSA assistance event

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Calling all high school and transfer students! The University of Louisiana Monroe is hosting a free “FASFA Frenzy” open house on Monday, Feb. 5 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The event aims to help students fill out their FAFSA applications to see what types of financial aid they qualify for.
“ULM wants to make sure that no student leaves any money on the table,” said ULM Associate Director of Customer Service and Outreach, Erica Hopko. “We will help you fill out the FAFSA so that college can be more affordable.”
ULM encourages students to come to the lobby of ULM’s Sandel Hall located at 4020 Northeast Drive during the event hours to receive assistance. Staff from ULM’s Recruitment and Financial Aid departments will be there to offer a helping hand.
Those wanting to attend should bring the following:
- FSA ID information for themselves and their parent or guardian
- 2022 tax return
- W-2 information for themselves and their parent or guardian
