KNOE anchor Chris Brown nominated for Top 20 Under 40
KNOE evening anchor Chris Brown is one of dozens of people nominated for the local Top 20 Under 40 award.
An Emmy-nominated journalist, Chris Brown anchors KNOE's 6:00 and 10:00 newscasts. He also serves as KNOE’s Managing Editor.
The winner of more than 10 Associated Press awards for his reporting, Chris has been providing compelling news coverage for years; from the beaches of North Carolina as hurricanes bared down, to investigations that spawned more Congressional hearings about tap water safety at Camp Lejeune, to covering the war in Afghanistan from the front lines. In Louisiana, Chris was nominated for an Emmy award for his coverage of the historic flooding that hit the ArkLaMiss back in 2016.
53 Northeast Louisiana professionals have been nominated for the honor, which will be awarded in September by the Monroe Chamber of Commerce, the News-Star and the Northeast Louisiana Young Professionals.
