Monroe Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting at 3519 Bon Aire Drive on Sunday, April 12.
21-year-old Deangelo Maeshack is accused of attempted second-degree murder and possession of three pounds of marijuana.
Police say Maeshack admitted to firing approximately 16 shots with the intent to kill the occupants of a green Grand Marquis. The car was one of many vehicles, along with apartments, that came under his gunfire, police say.
According to his arrest record, Maeshack said he had so much marijuana because he gives it to anyone who comes to 3519 Bon Aire Drive and wants to smoke with him.
Maeshack was booked at the Ouachita Correctional Center and his bond is set at $500,000.
