1 dead, 4 stabbed in charter bus in Walmart parking lot

BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC/Gray News) - One person died in a quadruple stabbing on a charter bus in a Walmart parking lot in Alabama.

The stabbing happened Monday afternoon, June 15, in Bessemer, according to the Bessemer Fire Department.

All four people were taken to the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital. One of them later died from their injuries, according to officials.

The bus was traveling with 40 security guards on board headed to Louisiana, according to the Bessemer Fire Chief.

One person was arrested. No other information was immediately available.
