FAQ
Question:
Why should we not call this number?
Answer:
What we mean is if you dial the number, you violate the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY for any and all maerkitng calls associated with this group! It's a Pandora's Box and most people do not know that!
Question:
But what about the promised free prizes they are offering?
Answer:
According to an April 2016 complaint from consumers, there are hidden charges: a fuel charge, upgrading charges, and being pressured into pre an post hotel stays that approached $700. Also, consumers have to get to one part of Florida for processing and drive another 3-5 hours to board which takes several hours. Some consumers complained that when they were finally allowed to talk to someone to get a refund approved, their credit card was charged again.
Also the ship called the "Grand Celebration" is actually a refitted ferry. While there are only 7 complaints, there is a wealth of information thanks to consumers who want to share their stories, You can read those at www.bbb.org on the BBB Business Review for Royal Seas Cruises Inc.
Question:
Have they contacted consumers in other ways?
Answer:
Referring again to complaints list on the BBB business review, there are references to calling banks and credit card company numbers where there is a recording to take a survey and win a cruise. So think carefully before you participate in that survey. You may get in over your head and create bigger problems down the road. According to several of the complaints, getting them to stop calling is also an unwanted side effect of this mailout or phone survey!
