Lincoln Parish School District has been named the number two best public school district in Louisiana by Niche. Lincoln Parish was also ranked as the best place to teach in Louisiana, the district with the best teachers, the fifth most diverse district in the state, and the eleventh-best district for athletes.
The Uvalde Foundation For Kids is awarding Ouachita Parish student, Aubrey L. Griffin, with its National Student Hero Award after learning that Griffin reported a possible threat at her school on Sept. 12.
Grambling State University and Louisiana Tech University signed a memorandum of understanding in October 2020 to provide Grambling undergraduates with accelerated entry into LA Tech’s Masters of Accounting program.
The beloved former ULM employee began his life on May 4, 1939, in Jonesboro-Hodge and spent most of his childhood in Holly Ridge, La. McDonald graduated from Holly Ridge High School in 1957 and Northeast Louisiana State College (now ULM) in 1961. From that point forward, he never ceased to serve his community in any capacity possible.
For the first time in the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) 150-year history, a full-ride scholarship has become available to students in the university’s College of Medicine thanks to a gift from the estate of E. Lee Ronnel.
ULM students and staff were welcomed back today for the beginning of the 2023 fall semester. It was the first official event at the new Clarke M. Williams Innovation Campus which was donated by Lumen earlier this year in June.
