As a KNOE 8 News weather intern, you'll get training and learn what it takes to put together a multimedia weather forecast. Interns get hands-on experience with The Weather Company's Max ecosystem and get the opportunity to put together their own resume reel. Interns are responsible for helping create weather graphics, posting and monitoring the KNOE 8 News social media pages, and assisting with special projects throughout the semester.
·In pursuit of an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress.
·Current class standing of junior or above
·Must be 18 years of age or older
·Needs to be able to work on-site in Monroe, LA
·Internship is non-paying
·Interns need to receive school credit hours for internship
Education, Experience, Certification Requirements:
·Desired Backgrounds: Atmospheric Science, Broadcast Meteorology, Communications, Journalism
·Previous internship experience or on-campus leadership
