How to Create a Great Fajita


1/4 lb thinly sliced sirloin steak
1/4 lb thinly sliced pork loin
1/4 lb boneless, skinless chicken cut into strips
1/4 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
1 onion, sliced thin
1/2 green bell pepper sliced thin
1/2 orange or yellow bell pepper sliced thin
1 tomato, sliced in wedges
2 Tbsp vegetable oil, divided
1 packet fajita seasoning
Sour cream


In large skillet, heat 1 Tbsp vegetable oil and sauté onion and peppers until tender. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In same skillet, heat 1 Tbsp vegetable oil, sear steak, pork, and chicken. Add fajita seasoning and 1/4 cup water, mix well.

Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 3-5 min. After about 2 min, stir in shrimp and continue to stir for remaining 3 min.

Then add onions and peppers and tomato.
Spoon 1/2 cup mix to warmed tortilla along with salsa and sour cream.
