ZooBuddies: Australian green tree frog

By  |

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Two Australian Tree Frogs visited the KNOE studio. These frogs, otherwise known as White's tree frog or dumpy tree frog, call moist tropical parts of Australia home. Australian Tree Frogs can grow up to 4-5 inches long. The secretion from these frogs have qualities being researched for a variety of medical applications. They also make wonderful pets! You can see the Australian Tree Frog at Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo.

We also have 27 acres of landscaped grounds with many interesting plants and a walk through greenhouse.
