Wind chills Tuesday night to approach the upper teens

(KNOE 8 WEATHER) - Today we'll see a cloudy sky to start with decreasing clouds as we head through the afternoon. Temperatures will be very cold as strong northerly winds will act as a convey belt transporting cold air from the north to the south. The wind will make temperatures feel much colder than they really are. The high today will be 39 but prepare for temperatures to feel like the upper 20's to low 30's.

Tuesday and Wednesday the temperatures will remain cold, however, high pressure will build in leading to well deserved dry/sunny weather.

Late week southerly winds will return with the return of showers. We are eyeing the possibility of severe storms next Saturday as a potent trough of low pressure dips into the centra/southern plains. We'll keep you posted on that.
