WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A West Monroe woman is accused of stalking her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend for months. That stalking allegedly included dozens of visits to their home, constant phone calls, threatening online messages, and even leaving a dog toy for the new girlfriend to send her a message.
According to an arrest affidavit for Jennifer Robert, the suspect repeatedly came to the victims' apartment beating on their door and window during all hours of the day and night. When the suspect wasn't beating on their door, she's accused of sending them 20+ Facebook and text messages a day.
According to police, in one of those messages, Robert threatened to "beat (victim's) skull in and piss in her mouth".
On the day of Robert's arrest, March 11, 2018, she allegedly left a "gift bag" for her ex and his new girlfriend. In the bag: a card, a brownie, and a dog chew toy. On the card, police say, was a note that said the brownie was for her ex and the chew toy was for "the bitch".
Robert surrendered herself to West Monroe Police and was booked on charges of stalking and cyberstalking.
