West Monroe PD asking for public's help in shooting investigation

WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The West Monroe Police Dept. is investigating a shooting they say happened Monday, March 11 - and they are asking for the public's help in their investigation.

According to police, the shooting happened in the 300 Block of Coleman Avenue, just a couple of blocks from the Endom Bridge. One person was shot but did not sustain a life-threatening injury.

They say a red Dodge Avenger and a gray Nissan Altima were used in the crime. They also believe that witnesses on the scene recorded the incident on their cell phones. They are asking that witnesses come forward with their video and help them identify the drivers or owners of the vehicles.

They add:
