MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The colder temperatures are not hanging around for very long. Sunday will see high temperatures in the mid 50's, which is average for this time of year. However, Monday will see a return of the 70's ahead of a weak cold front that will move through Monday into Tuesday. This will also bring with it the chance for showers and thunderstorms, some of which may be severe.
Sunshine will return late Tuesday and Wednesday with temps lingering in the 60's but another cold front will approach the area Thursday into Friday, bringing with it more rain and another shot of colder air for the weekend.
