WINN PARISH, La. (KNOE) - Authorities in Tulsa, Oklahoma have arrested a man accused of murder in northeast Louisiana.

News 6 in Tulsa says 39-year-old Oshay Booker was apprehended Tuesday afternoon at W 61st St. and S Santa Fe Ave. in Tulsa. He was arrested by the Tulsa Police Department Fugitive Squad and K-9. There was a brief standoff before he surrendered to police.

Booker was wanted for the murder of Ronald "Cloud" Goff, Oshay's step-father. Goff was shot and killed Tuesday, June 11, 2019, on Spillway Road.

After Goff's death, The City of Winnfield posted the following message on their Facebook page:

"The City of Winnfield mourns the loss of previous Mayor Ronald "Cloud" Goff. I’d say there’s nobody in town who has not been impacted by him. Mr. Goff was one of the most outgoing people we’ve had the privilege to know. 'He told the best stories, and always had time for a joke and a laugh. He was the pillar and heart of his family, always willing to help when needed, he will be truly missed.' Current Mayor George Moss has ordered all flags on city buildings to remain at half-staff through Goff's home-going,"
