UPDATE: Man arrested in shooting death of two Bossier women

BOSSIER CITY, La. The Bossier City Police Department has made an arrest in a double murder that happened overnight on Wednesday.

According to authorities, Frederick Dewayne Jackson, 22, of Shreveport, is accused of the shooting death of two women at the Misty Hollow Apartment complex on Misty Lane in Bossier.

Jackson is being charged with 1st Degree Murder, and his bond is set at $7.5 million dollars.

The identities of the women have not yet been released.

Police are on the scene of a shooting that has left two women dead on Wednesday night.

Officers got the call before 8:30 p.m. to the Misty Hollow Apartments off Airline Drive.

According to Bossier City Police Spokeswoman Traci Landry, two women have been shot and killed. Officers have ruled out a murder-suicide.

No word on suspects at this time. Police remain on scene. Officers are speaking to witnesses in the area.
