Phillips Stockton, Associate Director of Choir at Mississippi State, and Dr. Deborah Chandler, Director of choral activities at ULM, stopped the studio Tuesday morning to invite the community to the Gospel Mass hosted by Florida State composer Dr. Andre Thomas.

Dr. Chandler says the event features 160 voices in orchestra, along with different universities all across the southern region. Those universities include Florida and Mississippi State.

One of the big headliners for Tuesday night's concert includes world-renowned composer and conductor Dr. Andre Thomas from Florida State University.

Admission is free and open to the public. After the concert, a gala will be followed hosted by the Bayou Masterwork Chorale.

The concert is scheduled for February 11, at 7:30 p.m. at ULM Brown Auditorium.
