MONROE, La. (KNOE) - The president of the University of Louisiana Monroe is set to retire.
According to a spokesperson for ULM, Nick Bruno submitted his retirement letter to the University of Louisiana System on Monday.
Bruno is the eighth president of ULM. He began his tenure as president in 2010. He has been in higher education for 45 years.
Bruno is expected to retire by June 30.
The search for a new president is expected to begin soon. It will be conducted by the UL system and will be a nationwide search.
