ULM says this warning is being done as a precaution because of the Tornado Warning that was just issued for Ouachita Parish.

There has been no tornado reported at ULM at this time.

A tornado warning is in effect until 4pm for southcentral Jackson and northern Winn parishes. A radar indicated tornado was located 12 miles northwest of Winnfield, moving to the east 45 mph. Dodson is in the path of this possible tornado. -Tom (Posted at 3:29 PM)

A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 4pm for Winn and southern Jackson parishes. An intense line of storms continues to move to the east at about 40 mph. Damaging winds are likely with this line of storms. Dodson and Winnfield are in the path of this storm.
