NEW ORLEANS, La. (WAFB) The Rolling Stones are “delighted” to perform in the Big Easy after having to cancel their headlining spot at Jazz Fest in March.

The self-proclaimed greatest rock and roll band in the world posted a revised list of dates for their upcoming “No Filter” tour. The Stones will be performing in New Orleans on July 14 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, May 31 at 10 a.m. The pre-sale for the Stones' mailing list will run from 10 a.m. on May 29, to 10 p.m. on May 30.

The tour, originally routing the Stones to Jazz Fest on May 2, was postponed so lead singer Mick Jagger could undergo heart surgery, causing them to have to cancel. They were replaced as headliners by Fleetwood Mac, who also had to cancel while lead singer Stevie Nicks recovered from the flu.

Widespread Panic ended up being added to the 50th anniversary of the Jazz and Heritage Festival.
