Come and support local black businesses at the 2020 Black Business Expo!

Organizer Kenya Roberson joined us in the studio Thursday morning to share some of the exciting things that are underway at this year’s 3rd annual expo.

She says this is where all black business owners can showcase their talents, professions, and services.

One of this year’s sponsors is Ronny Traylor, the owner of Child’s Play ll Child Care and Development Center.

Traylor says he's been a sponsor for the past three years. He says the importance of being a part of the expo is getting locally-owned businesses on display and to show the world they can do what everybody else can do.

The Black Business Expo is scheduled for February 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Monroe Civic Center.

Winners will be crowned on February 22 at 6:30 p.m.
