Test rocket for tourists successfully launches

VAN HORN, Tx A test rocket for tourists was successfully launched into space.

It took off from Texas Thursday morning. There was no crew on board.

Instead, the rocket was carrying 38-nasa-supported research payloads that perform scientific experiments about the effects of a zero-gravity environment.

This mark's the 11th test of blue origin's new shepherd rocket. and possibly one of the last as the company gets ready to send its first customers into space.
