Temperatures dip below freezing tonight

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A Freeze Warning has been issued for Union and Lincoln Parishes (LA), as well as Union and Ashley Counties (AR) as temperatures are expected to drop below freezing for roughly 2-4 hours late tonight.

Patchy frost will be a hazard by the morning hours, so make sure to protect sensitive plants and vegetation from the cold.

After we get thought this freezing weather tonight, temperatures will rebound quite nicely by Sunday afternoon when we should reach 60 degrees.

More sunshine will be around the majority of this week and temperatures will also be pretty pleasant.

We'll kick things off in the low 70s Monday and Tuesday, then mid and upper 70s Wednesday before likely getting to the low 80s on Thursday and Friday.

This is all, of course, before another cold front comes through so we'll get an increase in clouds by Friday, and rain chances increase on Saturday.
