MONROE, La. (KNOE) - High temperatures are going to remain in the mid to upper 70's for the majority of the week. Rain chances will steadily increase as the week progresses, with the possibility for showers and thunderstorms each day. The heaviest rain will be on Thursday when a fairly strong cold front will move through and drop our temperatures to the upper 30's and low 40's by Friday morning.
Skies will finally clear and cooler air will settle in for the weekend, with highs in the 50's.
