(KNOE 8 WEATHER) - A Tornado Watch has been issued for Northeast Louisiana and parts of Southern Arkansas until 11:00 PM tonight. Two tornadoes have already been confirmed. One of which was spotted on the ground near Natchitoches at 5:19 PM. These storms are dangerous and already have had a history of causing damage to homes in Natchitoches Parish.

There is the possibility of a secondary line of storms forming across Southern Arkansas later tonight which could help reignite a few of these storms and possibly cause them to start rotating.

Now is the time to have a tornado plan in place. If a tornado warning is issued in your area, seek shelter in the lowest interior room of your home. You should put as many walls between you and the outside as possible, such as a closet or a bathroom.

We will have updates through the night on KNOE, as well as social media.
