Steps toward peace: a march to end crime in Monroe

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - On Saturday, Highway and Hedges Ministry will be hosting a march and concert to end violence. The director, Jabbar Perkins said they are a national ministry who has come to Monroe after hearing about the recent research naming it the most dangerous city in the country.

A march to end crime in Monroe taking place March 31st.

The march will start at 4:30 on Jason Lane and end at Parkview and Trishell apartments. There will be a concert to follow. Perkins said it is open to the public for free.
