MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Clouds will be increasing throughout the day but temperatures are still expected to top out around 80. A few showers may arrive late this afternoon/evening but the primary rainfall won't arrive until after midnight. Some of these storms may turn strong or severe. Our primary concern with this system is flash flooding as we are expecting to receive another 1-3 inches in some locations. Other concerns are large hail, tornadoes and damaging winds. Since this is technically an overnight event make sure you are able to hear any severe alerts that may be sent to your phone or weather radio. Showers and storms will linger throughout most of the day but sunshine will return for your Friday and Easter weekend.
