MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Update: Traffic appears to be moving again.
A major wreck on Interstate 20 in northeast Louisiana has stalled traffic for nearly an hour and a half.
As of 10:53 a.m. traffic is still backed up for miles, according to our reporter on the scene.
According to the traffic website, Waze, several users have reported that traffic between Choudrant and Calhoun is at a standstill. The first Waze user report came in at 9:30 a.m.
The cause is believed to a wreck involving an 18-wheeler and at least one other vehicle. Witnesses report that a medical helicopter was called to the scene. It has since left the scene.
It's unclear how many injuries there were or the severity of those injuries.
