MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Today may not bring as much of a chance for showers as Tuesday, but more rain will begin to arrive Thursday ahead of a weak cold front that will push into the region. Not much rain is expected with this system, but there is still a chance of showers and some thunderstorms. After Thursday we will enter a summer-like pattern of a possible stray afternoon shower each day through next week. Temps will remain slightly above average, in the low to mid 90's through next week. Thursday and Friday will be our coolest days, with temps in the upper 80's due to increased cloud cover.
