Private plane crashes in Morehouse Parish, kills two

A private plane crashed in Collinston in Morehouse Parish Sunday afternoon, killing the two people who were on board.
The Morehouse Parish Sheriff's office confirmed that a plane crashed in a field near the Morehouse Parish Detention Center around 4:40 Sunday afternoon, knocking out power to the prison.
The Sheriff said a NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) investigation is underway to determine why the plane crashed.
