MONROE, La (KNOE) - A severe threat has been issued for our viewing area today. It includes a marginal, slight, and even enhanced risk. The primary threat with this system will be strong, damaging winds but hail, isolated tornadoes, and even minor flooding can't be ruled out. The timing for this will be late morning/early afternoon for the western part of our viewing area until late afternoon/evening for the eastern part. Stay weather aware today. A flash flood watch has also been issued until 12:00 PM Thursday. Sunshine and cooler temperatures will return Friday and remain with us through next week.
