MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Fairly warm temperatures will continue over the next week or so, with temperatures approaching the 90's by early next week. The humidity is also on the gradual return, which will mark the return of the sticky, muggy air. Sunny skies will continue through Saturday morning but overnight Saturday, into Sunday morning we are monitoring a possible threat for severe weather. A line of storms will move through late Saturday that will carry with it a threat for possible damaging winds, hail, and isolated tornadoes. This will be an overnight threat so make sure you are able to hear severe alerts if you are sleeping. The good news is that will quickly move out and only a few lingering showers can be expected for Monday through Wednesday.
