OPSO: Pair found passed out in hot vehicle with meth, infant

According to arrest records, 22-year-old Bradlee Edward Bellmore, 24-year-old Brianna Nichole Ramsey, and the 8-month-old infant were found at 160 Wainwright Lane around noon on Sunday.

OUACHITA PARISH, La. (KNOE) - The Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested two people on multiple charges after they were found passed out in a hot vehicle with an infant.

According to arrest records, 22-year-old Bradlee Edward Bellmore, 24-year-old Brianna Nichole Ramsey, and the 8-month-old infant were found at 160 Wainwright Lane around noon on Sunday.

OPSO says the infant was in a car seat in the rear of the vehicle. Deputies say the vehicle was not running and all three occupants were covered in sweat.

OPSO says they also found four bags of suspected meth, digital scales, and a glass pipe in the vehicle along with several Clonazepam pills.

OPSO says both suspects denied possession of the items.

According to weather records, the heat index reached 111 degrees Sunday afternoon at its peak, which would have been around 3-5 in the afternoon. During the time of the arrest, which was around noon, the temperature was not at its peak but would have been somewhere between 92 - 95 degrees. The heat index would have been over 100 degrees at this time.

Both suspects are charged with cruelty to juveniles, CDS in the presence of persons under 17 years of age, possession with intent to distribute CDS (meth), possession of CDS (Clonazepam), possession of drug paraphernalia.
