The Ouachita Parish Library is gearing up for its 41st Annual Pumpkin Bash.
Danielle Tolbird is the Communications Coordinator for the library and says it's a great way to make learning fun. She says it's a great way to instill a love of reading at an early age.
"Strong readers build strong communities, so we want all of our children to be strong readers and know that reading is fun," says Tolbird.
The event is Saturday, October 18th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Ouachita Parish Main Branch Library on N. 18th Street in Monroe.
The event is free and open to the public.
