Melissa Saye, Director of the NELA Children’s Museum, joined us to talk about some exciting upcoming events taking place at the Children's Museum.

Throughout January, the museum will be doing field trips for all children who would like to come and participate in some fun activities.

Those activities include making peanut butter and birdseed covered pine cones to place on the Christmas trees outside the children's museum for feathered friends to enjoy.

NELA Children’s Museum will also be celebrating National Museum Month by giving out free passports to visitors to visit all the ten museums in the area.

Saye says each museum you visit will stamp your passport. When you've visited the 6th to 10th places, you'll receive a gift from that museum.

Once you've visited all the attractions, your name will be entered for drawing to receive a gift basket from all the museums.
