(KNOE 8 WEATHER) - A foggy morning is expected as low-level moisture, combined with warm temperatures is allowing for cloud ceilings to drop. Today the fog should lift soon because an approaching cold front should allow drier air to mix in plus the winds will increase enough to stir up the lower atmosphere.
Expect off and on showers Thursday and Thursday afternoon then a dry Friday with peeks of sunshine expected.
This weekend an arctic cold front will increase our rain coverage. It appears that Sunday we'll see the higher rain coverage.
It also appears that by the time the cold air arrives, the moisture will scour the viewing area, hence we're NO LONGER talking about the potential of wintry precip (sorry to break your hopes!)
Very cold air will intrude Sunday night with overnight lows in the 20's and daytime highs in the upper 30's!
