21 children will be taking a trip to the “most magical place on earth” this spring, thanks to a famous name in Louisiana sports.

On Friday, New Orleans Saints and Pelicans owner Gayle Benson stopped by the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home in Monroe with a surprise.

Benson greeted each child in residential care between the ages of five and 17 with an envelope that contained an all-expense-paid trip to Disney World.

Vice President of Development and Public Relations Marc Eichelberger he said it was a heartwarming and tear-jerking moment.

"Most of our children are just coming out of survival mode and so this would be not only a trip of a lifetime but a memory of a lifetime," Eichelberger said.

The children are expected to take the trip during spring break in March.
