UPDATE: Oak Manor murder suspect arrested in Missouri

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A man wanted on a second-degree murder charge in Monroe has been arrested in Missouri.

According to the Joplin Police Department in Missouri, 17-year-old Markeivion Ray Hill was found and arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 5th, 2018, after Joplin PD was contacted by Monroe police.

Hill is accused of murdering Deshun Cook. Cook was shot and killed at the Oak Manor Apartment complex on November 24th.

Police say he was arrested without incident and is being held in the Joplin City Jail.
