The Children's Miracle Network, along with Miss Outstanding Teen, will be hosting the Children’s Miracle Network Talent Show.
Patterson says she started this fundraiser to raise money for Miss America’s Outstanding Teen platform and bring awareness towards cancer patients.
“At 13, I started this fundraiser to raise funds for Miss America’s Outstanding Teen national platform Children’s miracle network. It actually ties in with my personal platform Miss Louisiana’s Outstanding Teen hashtag more than 4, which means out of the $4.9 billion allotted for the research of cancer in the U.S., only 4% goes towards pediatric cancer.”
Admission to enter the talent show is $5. Patterson encourages all guests to donate. All proceeds will go to the Children’s Miracle Network.
The talent show is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at 6 p.m. The show will take place at the Strauss Youth Academy for the Arts on 1300 Lamy Lane, Monroe.
