Authorities are looking for a Monroe man wanted on drug charges.
The Metro Narcotics Unit, consisting of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office and other local law enforcement agencies, say Aaron Mitchell (Mitch) Adcock fled his residence in the 200 block of Foster Street in Monroe as they executed a search warrant. Foster Street is near Oliver and Loop Road.
During the December 18 search, authorities seized about 138 pounds of marijuana in heat-sealed packaging in Adcock's home. They say that the drugs are worth a street value of $1.3 million.
14 guns, including AR-15s, shotguns, and handguns, along with over 3,000 rounds of ammunition were also obtained during the search warrant.
Upon the search warrant, police also arrested 20-year-old Chelsea Marie Lyons who was with her one-year-old child. She was charged with illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of narcotics, possession with intent to distribute, and CDS in the presence of a minor.
Lyons has since been bonded out of the Ouachita Parish Correctional Center.
The Narcotics Unit say the initial investigation came from a Crimestoppers of North Delta tip.
Authorities say Adcock could've fled to the Richland Parish area.
